Bhubaneswar: A bus driver and conductor working with the “Mo Bus’ service managed by the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) was today felicitated for returning a purse containing gold ornaments, cash and debit card
The driver Bulu Pradhan and conductor Jibanjyoti Rout were also well appreciated for their honesty.
CRUT officials said that the incident took place on Tuesday when both of them stumbled upon a purse lying unattended in the bus. The purse belonged to Sujata Nayak, a teacher working with a reputed private school in the state capital.
“Both the driver and conductor returned the purse to their higher authority at the bus depot. The purse was later handed over at CRUT office and officials returned the purse to the passenger,” said an official.
Earlier in the last week of June, a driver of the bus service was also felicitated after he had returned a bag containing cash of Rs 49500 of a passenger.
