Miscreants Try To Set Talcher BJD Legislator’s Paternal House On Fire

Angul: Miscreants allegedly tried to set Talcher BJD legislator Braja Kishore Pradhan’s paternal house in Handidhua in the district on fire late last night.

The family members of the MLA today lodged a formal complaint in this connection with the Colliery police station.

As per the complaint, the miscreants set a tyre on fire and placed it on the window of the house. However a major fire was averted after the tyre fell on the ground. Police have started an investigation in this connection.

Earlier in August miscreants had allegedly set the official residence of the MLA in Unit IV in Bhubaneswar on fire. As many as two cars, two motorcycles and one bicycle were gutted in the incident.
