Miscreants Set Vehicle On Fire As Murder Bid Foiled In Odisha

Balasore: Some unidentified miscreants looted and burnt two vehicles after they failed in their intention to kill someone in Chhanua village under Basta police limits in Balasore district in Odisha on Sunday night.

According to reports, the miscreants had targeted one shrimp feed factory named as ‘Kamachandi’ owner. He has been identified as Subhash Bhuyan. They had targeted him spotting that the business was going well at the factory.

On Sunday late at night, the miscreants went to the factory with an intention to kill the employees and loot them. As they could not find any employee at the factory, they looted things worth more than Rs 1.5 lakh and burnt a car along with a container truck.

The locals informed the owner when they saw the burning vehicles. By the time he arrived, the miscreants had fled from the spot.

Subhash immediately reported the incident with Basta police station. The cops initiated an investigation based on the complaint and the CCTV footage that was installed in the area.
