Miscreants loot Rs 12 Lakh from teacher in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Two bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 12 lakh from a teacher near Apartibindha Chowk under Bhadrak Town Police Station on Thursday.

The miscreants looted the cash from Ashok Kumar Khilar of Podapatna village. He is working as a teacher at Kadamba High School.

According to reports, Ashok was going to the house after withdrawing the money from a bank. In the meantime, two miscreants in a black pulsar came all of a sudden and fled the spot before anyone could recognize them. He had withdrawn the money to buy a plot tomorrow.

A team of cops from Bhadrak Town Police station reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. They are verifying the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the area to identify the vehicle and the robbers.
