Mayurbhanj: Adding to the growing incidents of burglary in the district, miscreants stole cash worth lakhs along with mobile phones in Bisoi area here last night.
The loot came to light this morning after family members of one Sadanand Dey found the window grills broken. After conducting a search inside the house the almirah lock was found broken and cash worth Rs 2 lakh along with other valuables missing.
Later, one neighbour of Dey also found the window grills of his house broken and mobile phone missing.
Bisoi Police arrived at the spot after getting an intimation and started investigation with the help of scientific team and dog squad.
