Bhubaneswar: Some unidentified miscreants have looted huge amount of cash, gold jewelleries worth lakhs of rupees along with electronics from a rented house in Sameigadia area of Bhubaneswar’s Rasulgarh area. The victim has been identified as Prafulla.
Reportedly, the miscreants have looted Rs 26,000 cash, gold jewelry worth over Rs 18 lakh, and a LED television from the house.
The people residing in the rented house have alleged that the loot has taken place while they had gone to their village on Friday noon. The miscreants took advantage of the situation and robbed the house.
Later when they arrived Bhubaneswar and found the locks of the door and gates were broken and the whole house was messed up as well as the cupboards were left open, Prafulla immediately filed a case with Mancheswar police station.
On getting the information, Mancheswar police arrived at the spot and initiated an investigation into the loot case. The identities of the miscreants are yet to be ascertained.
