Khordha: Days after decamping with a teller machine, miscreants struck again in the district last night and looted cash from an ATM unit located in Nandapur area under Sadar Police limits.
As per the report, a group of looters targeted the Indicash ATM located in the Nandapur market late last night and managed to break its iron chest. Later they fled away with all the cash fed in it.
The incident came to light this morning after some customers reached the spot to withdraw money and found the unit ransacked with glass doors broken.
Bank and Police officials have reached the spot and trying to assess the exact amount of cash lost in the incident.
Notably, in a similar incident on November 11 night, miscreants had decamped with a Tata Indicash ATM from Tulasipur Bazaar area in the district after failing to steal cash from it.
