Soro: Unidentified miscreants looted valuables worth lakhs along with donation money from at least two temples in Dahisada village under Soro police limits last night.
The loot came to fore this morning, after some locals reached Lord Sani temple in the village to perform morning darshan and found its gate grills broken. They immediately informed the priests on the issue.
After reaching the temple, the priests found silver ornaments of the deity worth lakhs missing from the temple.
Later, a temple of Lord Hanuman located nearby was also found looted with money from the Hundi (donation box) missing.
Police have reached the spot and started an investigation into the burglary after lodging a case.
