Bhubaneswar: Few days after a couple was attacked inside their house in the capital city of Odisha, today another similar incident took place in Bhubaneswar. Miscreants broke into the house of a woman and attacked her with weapons for which she has sustained critical injury. The incident took place in the lane 4 of Jagannath Nagar in Jharpada area of Bhubaneswar. The woman has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
The victim has been identified as Geetanjali Palta Singh.
As per reports, the miscreants barged into the house of the woman and attacked her with sharp weapons. It has been suspected that precious articles have been looted including gold ornaments. It was informed by Sushanta Swain, husband of the woman.
The woman has sustained injury in her neck and some other parts of the body. She has been admitted to Capital hospital. Saheed Nagar Police is investigating the case.
