Minor Son Of Woman Leading Anti Liquor Movement In Kantabanji Allegedly Kidnapped, Rescued From Station

Bhawanipatna: 11 year old boy, the son a woman leading antiliquor protest in Kantabanji area was allegedly kidnapped on Saturday. The minor boy, however, was rescued from Kantabanji railway station last evening.

Police said that the mother of the boy was leading a anti liquor protest in two wards of Kantabanji area.

“We have started an antiliquor movement in our area for past one month. My son went on missing from last evening. Though we searched him in the area he could not be traced. Later he was rescued from the railway station area. He said that someone lured him and took him to Titlagarh railway station from where another man left him at Kantabanji railway station,” said the woman.

Police have started an investigation after getting a formal complaint from the mother of the minor boy.
