Keonjhar: A minor girl hung herself to death in Inchala village under Hatadihi block in Keonjhar district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Sandhyarani Mallik, daughter of Srikant Mallick.
As per the report, Sandhya had an altercation with her parents over some issue last night and went to bed after dinner. Her body was found hanging from the ceiling of the bedroom by a rope.
It is suspected that the victim might have committed suicide following a mental depression over the dispute.
Nandipada police have reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy to ascertain the cause of the death.
