Jharsuguda: In yet another shameful incident, a 15-year old from Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur has alleged that four Police officers gang-raped her for eight days in Jharsuguda.
It has been reported that the minor belongs to Jamshedpur under Telco police limits in Jharkhand. The victim was on a month-long visit to Jharsuguda with her relative Rabi Namdhari. While they were staying in a hotel, Rabi absconded after staying for a day.
The victim has alleged that four men in police uniform continually raped her for eight days.
The victim finally lodged a complaint at Talco Police Station on Thursday. Acting swiftly, the police have taken two into custody and have sent another team to Jharsuguda for further investigation.
Jharsuguda SP Sri Aswini Kumar Mohanty has extended his full support to the Jharkhand police in the matter.
