Puri: A minor boy of Nuapatna lane in Markendaswar Sahi under Puri district was caught red-handed and slapped fine of Rs. 35,000 for driving the scooter without any valid documents.
The minor was caught driving a scooter bearing registration number OD 02 B C 6215 during a motor vehicle checking by the traffic police near Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) traffic square.
On being informed by the traffic police, officer of RTO dept and Assitant Sub Inspector (ASI) reached the spot and seized the vehicle. The juvenile was then slapped a fine of Rs 35,000.
The traffic rules in Puri are being enforced strictly by the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
