Minor boy hurt after stumbling on crude bomb planted for wild boar in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A minor boy sustained critical injuries after stumbling upon a crude bomb which had been planted to hunt wild boar in Dangardiha village under Ghatagaon police limits in Keonjhar district on Monday.

The victim has been identified as Manoj Munda of the same village.

As per the report, Manoj had been to deliver food to his father, who was working at a farmland, along with his mother when the mishap occurred. He stamped on a crude bomb planted as a part of a trap laid to hunt wild boar triggering an explosion.

The victim was rushed to Ghatagaon Community Health Centre (CHC) after sustaining an injury to his right leg and hand. He was shifted to Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) later for better treatment.
