Balangir: In a tragic incident, a migrant worker from Balangir district of Odisha lost his hand in a bus accident while he was on his way to Tamil Nadu for work.
The migrant worker has been identified as Pradeep Seth, a resident of Landa Pathara village in the district.
As per reports, Pradeep was travelling in a bus that was carrying some migrant workers to Tamil Nadu. The bus met an accident at Vijaywada of Andhra Pradesh as a truck dashed it from the front.
Following the accident, Pradeep was rescued from the spot and was taken to Balangir Head Quarter hospital.
However, as his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to the Veer Surendra Sai Medical College and Hospital in Burla of Sambalpur for further treatment on Wednesday.
