Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) declared a micro-containment zone in Gopandhu Vihar of Nua Rausapatna area of Cuttack following the detection of six new Covid-19 positive cases.
According to reports, the CMC announced Gopabandhu Vihar in Nua Rausapatana as a micro-containment zone and imposed a ban on the entry to and exit from the containment zone as the six new Covid positives belong to a single family.
All the essential items including medicines will be provided to the concerned family with assistance from a nodal officer.
It is to be noted that Earlier on December 22, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) declared four flats (Flat No. G-151, G-132, G-142 and G-112) of Cosmopolis Apartment in Arya Village, Dumuduma of Bhubaneswar City as a Containment Zone while on December 21, Jayadurga Nagar in Bomikhal was declared a containment zone after two residents of Plot No. 1303/1304 tested positive for the deadly virus.
