Metro Railway Project Between Twin Cities Not Possible Till 2041, Odisha Min

Bhubaneswar: Urban Development Minister Pratap Jena said Odisha government has to delay the metro rail project between Cuttack and Bhubaneswar till 2041.

Speaking on the proposed twin-city metro rail project in the Odisha Assembly today, the Minister said for now the proposal has to be floored due to lack of feasibility.

A Hyderabad-based company- M/s Balaji Railroad Systems Ltd (BARSYL) had conducted a survey and found out that the project is not possible till 2041.

It is noteworthy that Minister Pratap Jena further added that discussions are being held with the center on the mater.
