Met issues yellow warning for heavy rainfall over 11 districts in the next 24 hours

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here today informed that 11 districts of Odisha are likely to witness heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours.

The weather department has issued a yellow warning for the heavy rainfall which is likely to occur between the 8.30 AM of July 6 and 8.30 AM of July 7.

“Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Balangir, Sonepur, Sambalpur and Bargarh,” informed the Met office today.
