Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department issued thunderstorm warning for seven districts of the state on Monday.
A press releases issued by the city-based MeT office said that thunderstorm is likely to occur in Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Angul districts till 12.30 PM today.
Likewise, the weatherman forecasted thunderstorm warning for Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khordha, Kendrapara districts till 1.00 PM.
Hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching up to 50 to 60 kmph will occur along with the thunderstorm in these districts, added the press note.
The Meteorological Department also predicted for Kala Baishakhi (Nor’westers) in Kendrapara district till 11.30 AM.
