Bhubaneswar: The city-based Meteorological Department predicted thunderstorm accompanied with gusty surface wind and lightning over 19 districts of Odisha today.
“The latest Doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm accompanied with gusty surface wind and lightning likely to occur over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Gajapati, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Jajpur, Puri, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Kandhamal and Khurdha till 5.30 PM,” said a press release issued by the regional MeT office.
