Bhubaneswar: The IMD Regional Centre here has issued rainfall and thunderstorm warning for at least 12 districts of Odisha till 5 pm today.
As per the latest Nowcast of the MeT Department, moderate thunderstorm and light rainfall accompanied by lightning are likely to be occurred in parts of districts like Bargarh, Bolangir, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Sundergarh and Sonepur from 4 pm to 5 pm thisafternoon.
In view of the changing weather conditions, people in these districts have been cautioned against moving out of homes and advised to take shelter in safe places to avoid untoward incidents.
