Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre on Friday forecast thunderstorm with lightning in as many as 16 districts in the state.
The districts are Mayurbhanj , Keonjhar , Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara , Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Khorda ,Deogarh , Cuttack, Puri, Gajapati , Rayagada, Koraput, Sundargarh and Angul.
People in these districts have been asked to remain alert and take shelter in nearby building or other safety locations from 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm today.
