Mercury Rises In Odisha, Temperature Reaches 40 Degree Mark In 10 Districts

Bhubaneswar: Mercury rises in Odisha. The temperature touches 40 degree mark in 10 districts in the State. The Met Department has predicted a hotter time ahead.

It has warned of a hot summer ahead. The hot weather will continue for a week  informed the regional Met department.

Yesterday, Talcher reported the highest temperature of the State at 41.7 degree Celsius. Balangir, Titlagarh, Malkangiri, Sonepur and Boudh recorded temperatuers in the 40-41 degree range.
