Mercury Rises In Odisha, Bhubaneswar And Baripada Record Temperatures Above 40°C

Bhubaneswar: A marked rise of mercury in two cities of Odisha. The temperature has crossed the 40 degree mark in two cities.

According to reports, Bhubaneswar and Baripada recorded highest temperatures across the state.

Apart from this, five districts of Odisha recorded more than 39 degrees Celsius and four districts recorded more than 38 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

However according to the weather department, the temperature is unlikely to change over the next five days.

The maximum temperature is expected to rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in most parts of the state till March 24, informed the Regional Meteorological Department.
