Famous spice producing company MDH To Set Up Spice processing Unit In Kandhamal of Odisha
Bhubaneswar: MDH, one of the most successful spices producing company in the country has shown keen interest to set up a spice processing unit in Kandhamal district. Owner of the company Padmabhushan Mahashay Dharampal Gulati has assured about it.
Lately, Kandhamal MP and founder of KISS and KIIT Dr. Achyuta Samanta met Gulati at his residence in Delhi and offered the proposal. And he was happy to go for it.
MDH to set up a spice processing unit in Kandhamal. Asked about it Kandhamal Lok Sabha MP Dr. Samanta said that farmers of Kandhamal will largely be benefited after the establishment of this unit. Further, the step will enhance their socio-economic condition.

It is worth mentioning here that Kandhamal turmeric has already got GI tag.
Knowing about Dr. Samanta’s effort in the field of education and social work Mr. Gulati was all praise for him. After knowing about KIIT and KISS he became interested to pay a visit to Odisha. Most probably Mr. Gulati will visit the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) next month. During this trip, he also will pay a visit to Kandhamal.
