Matric Examination-2019 to begin from Feb 22 in Odisha, Know the schedule

Cuttack: The annual Matric Examinations will begin from February 22, 2019, in Odisha. This was informed by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Jahan Ara Begum this afternoon.

According to Begum, the annual regular and ex-regular High School Certificate Examinations (HSCE) will continue till March 8.

The State Open School Certificate (SOSC) exams will also begin on the same day and will conclude on March 6.

Likewise, the Madhyama examination-2019 will also be held between February 22 and March 2.

Over six lakh students are slated to appear the exams.

There will be only one sitting and same question paper for all the regular and ex-regular exams.

Every exam will begin at 9 am and will conclude at 11.30 am, except the mathematics (MTH). The students will be allotted extra 15 minutes for the MTH and hence it will end at 11.45 am.

The students will have their practical exams of the Vocational trade like BW, HC, IT, TT, RM and BF in their own schools from February 11 to February 16 as per the guidelines of the board.

On the other hand, the BSE has extended the form fill-up date for the annual matric examination to December 15.
