Subarnapur: A married woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kukia village under Ulunda block of Odisha’s Subarnapur district on Monday.
The deceased woman , identified as Priyabati Mahalik, was found hanging inside a toilet in the village.
On being informed, Ulunda police reached the spot and seized the body. Later, the body was sent to a hospital for autopsy test.
Meanwhile, the father of the deceased lodged a complaint at Ulunda police station mentioning her daughter was killed by her in-laws over dowry demand.
On the basis the complaint, Ulunda police registered a case and started probe in this connection.
