Subranapur: A woman was allegedly found dead in suspicious circumstances at her in-laws’ house in Gandhinagar Pada under Binika police limits in Odisha’s Subranapur district on Thursday.
The body of Deepa Sindhria was found hanging from the ceiling fan of a bedroom in the house this morning.
Deepa, who was residing at her paternal house due to a dispute with her husband Sonu Sindhria, returned to her in-laws’ house yesterday, sources said.
The exact reason behind her death is yet to be ascertained.
On being informed, police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it to a hospital for autopsy test.
“We have sent the body for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway,” police said.
