Mayurbhanj: The markets in Karanjia town of Mayurbhanj have been shutdown for two days following the rise in Covid positives in the district.
According to reports, yesterday the Karanjia sub-collector, heads of various associations, government departments, lawyers and various other intelligentsia held an emergency meeting and decided to take this step.
After the meeting, the Trade Owners Association in Karanjia decided to shutdown the markets from today for two days.
It is noteworthy that, all business and trade in the town will be stopped. The shutdown will be effective from 6 am today to 6 pm on April 28.
