According to sources, the Maoists office will be officially inaugurated on the first day of the PLGA week on Saturday. A Maoist couple will stay there and operate the organisation.

The left wing extremists are planning to recruit tribal youths during the PLGA week, which will continue till December 8.

“We have information about the Maoists’ activities in the cut-off area of the district and the joint anti-Maoist operations will continue in the district by the Central paramilitary forces and police,” he added.
