Maoists attack construction camp, torch 3 vehicles in Chhattisgarh near Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Unleashing Red-fear again Maoists torched at least two vehicles along with a construction machine in Lendra village under Errabore police limits in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district bordering Malkangiri on Monday.

A group of heavily armed members of CPI (Maoist) group reached at a road construction site in the village in the wee hours and threatened the workers to stop work. Later they set a road roller, a tractor and a mixture machine on fire.

While all the workers and staff fled from the spot during the incident in fear, the Red rebels left the spot by resorting to sloganeering against the government a few minutes later.

Police have rushed to the spot after getting intimated on the incident and started investigation.
