Maoist posters resurface in Kandhamal

Phulbani: After a few days lull Maoist fear loomed large again in Kandhamal district today after resurfacing of a number of Red-posters in Durgapanga village under Kotagarh police limits this morning.

Released in the name of outlawed CPI (Maoist) group Odisha State Committee these posters were spotted by some locals in the morning who called up police. Put up on roadside trees near Durgapanga government school the posters were seen messages for locals working in District Voluntary Force (DVF), Special Operation Group (SOG), Odisha Home Guard appealing them to join the Maoist movement.

Through the posters the Red rebels also cautioned the youths working as police informers and told them not to work against the interest of their family members and relatives.

Taking a pot shot at the BJP government through their messages, the Maoists alleged it of spreading hatred among different sections of the society as well as trying to end the quota system in jobs.

They have given a call to prevent RSS from making any impact in the state also, through their posters.
