Maoist Landmine Blast In Odisha-Chhattisgarh Border,1 Army Personnel Injured
Malkangiri: One army personnel sustained critical injuries in a landmine blast triggered by the naxals in the border of Odisha near Malakangiri.
As per reports, a road was being constructed between the forest and the village where the Maoists planted a series of blasts. The blast took place while the DRG jawan was going through the road to protect the road construction work. He sustained critical injuries.
Atleast 30 army personnels narrowly escaped from the tragic incident.
Later, during the search operation more than 10 kg of planted bombs were found and defused.
After this incident, the operation has been intensified by the police.
