Kantabanji: Mao banners have been found in Odisha yet again on Tuesday. The banner this time threatened people to boycott the Panchayat elections.

Panic gripped the locals after the Maoist banner was found.

The banner was found at Samaraingh village under Turekela police limits in Bolangir district.

This time, the Mao banner urged the locals to boycott the upcoming Panchayat polls in Odisha.

It read as follows, “boycott the panchayat elections.”

The banner further added, “the people of the village are united to form their own government.”

The Turekela police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
