Balangir: Body of a man was found near the railway track on Balangir- Turekela line in Dabri village of Balangir district in Odisha on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Biswanath Hati of Dabri village under Kantabanji Police limits in in the district.
According to reports, locals spotted the body with severe head injury near the railway track and informed the police and family members.
On being informed the Government Railway Police (GRP) reached the spot and sent the body to a hospital for autopsy test.
The investigating officials recovered a train ticket from Hati’s pocket, which was booked for Pedapalli to Kantabanji dated on December 5.
Though the exact reason behind Hati’s death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he died after falling from a train, an official said.
