Manish Das death: Post mortem report out, Police to send sample for Viscera test, Diatom test

Bhubaneswar: In the mysterious death case of Manish Anurag Das, son of senior journalist Navin Das, Police will reportedly send samples for Viscera test and Diatom tests. After his dead body was recovered yesterday the post mortem had been done at AIIMS.

Police are in search of the two youths with whom the deceased had gone before he went missing. So far mobile phone of Manish has not been traced out. He was missing since Saturday night. However, his dead body was recovered from a pond on Sunday. After results of the tests will come out, the reason behind the death will be known, said Police.

Meanwhile Commissionerate Police has sealed the South City hotel for investigation of the case. The deceased had reportedly come to this hotel before his death and was reportedly there till late night. On this basis, the hotel has been sealed for investigation.

On the other hand, senior journalist Naveen Das, father of the deceased has alleged that his son has been murdered. He has alleged that friends of the deceased called him in the name of a feast and killed him. He has posted a video where he can be seen telling about the matter.

It is to be noted that Manish was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Sunday. His body was found in a pond of Namrakani in Patrapada under Tomando police limits on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
