Manas Sahoo pays tearful tribute to martyred Jawans through sand art

Puri: Noted sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo paid a tearful tribute to the martyred CRPF jawans, who lost their lives in the Pulwama terrorist attack, through a sand art at Manas Sahoo Sand Art Park, situated near Light House at Baliapanda in Odisha’s Puri.

Sahoo paid his homage through his sand art for the eternal peace of the souls of the martyred soldiers. In his sand art, Sahoo has shown how the national flag and the family members of the brave soldiers, people of India, are paying tributes from the deep down of their heart and saluting the brave soldiers with a sense of pride.

The sand art is of 15-feet in width and 20 tonnes of sand is used to make it. Sahoo took nearly eight hours to finish this sand art. In this art, he has given the message of “For our tomorrow they gave their today”, “Salute to the heroes”.

Hundreds of people visited the sand art and they stood by its side with folded hands as a mark of tributes to the brave martyrs. Besides, they clicked photos and slfies at the spot.
