Paradip: In a shocking incident, a man was garlanded with shoes and tied with a truck for allegedly stealing a mobile phone near Bhutamundai on Chandikhol-Paradip road in Odisha.
Reportedly, a video clip of the same has gone viral on social media.
A man from the Tikarpanga area in Kendrapara stole a mobile phone from the truck and escaped. He was later caught by other truck drivers.
Thereafter, they tied him to the front portion of the truck, garlanded him with footwear, and drove the truck on a bridge over the Mahanadi river at Bhutamundai.
Till the last reports came in, no police complaint has been lodged in this connection.
