Nabarangpur: A man thrashed his elder brother to death over family feud in Kerandi village under Papadahandi block in Nabarangpur district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Tularam Majhi of the same village.
As per the report, a verbal duel erupted between Tularam and his younger brother Kuna Majhi over certain issue late in the night. As the argument escalated further Kuna lost his cool and took out a wooden plank to attack his elder brother mercilessly.
Tularam sustained grievous injury in the attack and died on the spot a few minutes later.
Local Police rushed to the spot immediately after getting informed on the murder and arrested the accused.
The body of the victim was rushed for autopsy later.
