Sundergarh: A woman has been stabbed to death by her husband over family feud in Dhatikiposh village under Bonai police limits in Sundergarh district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Raibari Kishan.
As per the report, a verbal duel erupted between Raibari and her husband Gobind Kisan over a petty issue this morning at around 8 am. As the argument escalated further Gobind lost his cool and took out a ‘Bhujali’ (a sharp weapon) and attacked his wife mercilessly.
After neighbours of the woman reached out to help the victim by hearing her screams, the accused fled from the spot.
Raibari succumbed to the injuries on the spot before being sent to hospital.
Bonai Police rushed to the spot and seized the body of the deceased for an autopsy later.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused.
