Keonjhar: In a fallout of a family feud a man slapped his wife to death in Galaphula village under Patana police limits in Keonjhar district late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Bela Munda (44) of the same village.
As per the report, a verbal duel erupted between Bela and her husband Bira Munda (49) late in the night over certain issue. As the heated argument escalated subsequently, Bira slapped the victim leaving her critical on the spot. She succumbed minutes later.
Police rushed to the spot immediately and arrested the accused after sending the deceased for autopsy.
The interrogation of the accused is underway in the case.
