Keonjhar: In a shocking incident a woman was allegedly raped by her husband’s cousin in front of her spouse in Ghashipura area in the district today. The husband of the woman also allegedly filmed the entire incident on his mobile phone.
The victim alleged that the cousin brother of her husband raped her in an intoxicated condition. “Both of them were under the influence of alcohol when he raped me. My husband instead of protesting him recorded the incident on his mobile phone,” alleged the woman.
Police have registered a case and have sent the woman for medical examination. “ The husband and his cousin have been detained and are being interrogated further to ascertain the sequence of event,” said a police official.
This is the second such incident in the state this month. On June 20, a woman was allegedly raped by a friend of her husband in the presence of her spouse in Kandira area under Rajanagar police limits of Kendrapara district. Though police have registered a case, the accused are yet to be nabbed.
