Bhubaneswar: A man has allegedly killed his wife and slit his daughter’s throat in Ghatikia area of Bhubaneswar on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Saraswati Das.
Reportedly, the accused man, Sanjeet Das, had come to his house in an inebriated condition following which he killed his wife and attacked his six-year-old daughter. The accused has escaped from the spot.
The minor girl is under medical treatment in a critical condition.
On getting the information, Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh arrived at the spot and initiated a probe into the sensational murder case.
From the preliminary investigation, it is being suspected that the incident took place over family feud.
