Patamundai: A youth was beaten to death by his uncle and accomplices in a village under Pattamundai Police Station in Kendrapara district.
The deceased has identified as Trilochan Mahalik of Baktarpur village.
As per the report Trilochan Mahalik had a family related dispute with his uncle Sridhar Mahalik last Sunday.
Sridhar and his accomplices attacked Trilochan in his village.
Trilochan Mahalik was critically injured in the attack and was first admitted in Kendrapara district hospital.
Lateras his condition deteriorated, he was sent to Cuttack SCB hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.
Trilochan’s wife has filed a complaint with Pattamundai police station. But according to the her, the police did not pay heed to her complaint and did not register it.
Sources say, Sridhar Mahalik and others brutally attacked Trilochan Mahalik again due which he died.
