Nuapada: A man has been killed and his wife is reportedly critical in a road accident at Nuapada. The accident happened as a truck dashed against the bike.
The incident has taken place under Komana police limits of Ghotoswar village in Nuapada.
The man who has lost his life in the accident has been identified as Basudev Bemal. He is a resident of Balangir district.
His wife, Upasana Bemal is said to be critical and has been admitted in Komana community health care centre.
They were travelling from Ghotoswar to their home town when the accident took place.
Sources say, Basudev died on the spot. The police are investigating the matter. They have seized the body and sent it for a postmortem.
