Balangir: A man allegedly hacked his wife to death over domestic quarrel in Bhalumunda village under Bangamunda police station limits this afternoon.
As per reports, the accused husband Godabarish Sahu had a heated argument with his wife, Reena Sahu over a petty issue. Enraged over the argument the husband later attacked Reena with a sharp edged weapon leading to her death.
Police have detained the husband for further investigation. Police said that the couple got married in 2005 and has four daughters and a son.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the couple used to have frequent arguments over petty issues. We are further interrogating the man to ascertain the reason behind sudden provocation,” said a police official.
