Sambalpur: In a shocking incident, a man hacked his sister-in-law in Kisanpada village under Kuchinda police limits in Sambalpur district over a family feud today.
The deceased has been identified as Sukadei Kisan (60) of the same village.
As per the report, a heated exchange of words erupted between Sukadei and the accused Rama Kisan over some issue this morning. As the argument escalated further, the Rama took out an axe kept in the house and started hacking the victim brutally. She died on the spot.
Kuchinda Police reached the immediately after getting information on the killing and took the accused into custody.
The deceased has been sent for autopsy and further investigation is underway in the incident.
