Keonjhar: A man has been hacked to death by the villagers in Keonjhar district. The deceased was alleged to have raped a physically challenged girl.
As per the report, the crime took place at the Dabuna village under Bamebari Police limits of Keonjhar district. Name of the accused deceased is Ganesh Pingua.
Father of the victim and other villagers nabbed Ganesh and tied him to a tree and thrashed him black and blue after the girl intimated her father about the incident.
After getting the news police rushed to the spot, rescued Ganesh and admitted him to the hospital where he succumbed to his injury.
The Police have arrested four persons in this case including the father of the victim.
