Balasore: In a shocking incident, an woman has been dumped on the roadside by her husband in an inebriated condition in Nampo village under Jaleswar police limits in Balasore district last night.
The incident came to light after some locals in the village came across the woman early this morning and called up police.
Police rushed to the spot immediately and rescued the victim in an intoxicated condition.
While the identification of the woman is yet to be ascertained it is being suspected that her husband might have taken the step over a family feud and fed her some sedative before dumping.
While the woman has been rushed to a nearby hospital, police are waiting to record her statement post regaining of sense.
