Anandpur: A youth died of electrocution while carrying out repairing electrical fittings at his home in Mathianandi village under Anandpur police limits in Keonjhar district today.
The deceased has been identified as Babula Khanda.
The mishap took place minutes after Babula tried to fix a defect in the electric wiring at the home as he touched a snapped wire unknowingly.
While family members rushed the victim to Anandpur Sub Divisional Hospital in an unconscious state following the mishap doctors declared him brought dead during treatment.
